Whale Wonder: By Nina Pirola (Artist Collaboration)

Inspired by the gentle giants of the seas, the Whale Wonder towel design was painted by Nina Pirola on Gadigal land (Sydney). To coexist with the largest animal ever recorded on Earth is awe-inspiring, they grow to lengths of 30m (100 ft), as long as three school buses, with voices louder than a jet engine. Blue whales are conscious breathers, they never fall asleep completely, resting only half of their brain at a time. They're threatened by whaling, plastic pollution, and seismic testing - let's do our bit to protect these incredible ocean creatures while we enjoy the beach.
